10 year old carefree, Rebecca Rowena Randall is on the way to meet her aunts from Temperance all the way to Riverboro, Maine, her mother hopes it'll be the making of her. But, there is one problem. Well, Rebecca isn't what you'd call a proper young lady, then, and her Aunt Miranda is very prim and proper. From going through the back stairs and not messing up her bed, there are countless rules, Aunt Miranda expects her to follow. One thing is Aunt Jane is very nice. For 7 years, while staying at Riverboro, she makes friends with the Simpsons and Emma Jane, and Mr. Aladdin. This is an amazing book to get introduced to your first classic book.
