I Am Malala: Young Readers Edition

Have you ever been restricted? If so, how did that feel? Malala Yousafzai, born on 12 July 1997, she is now 22 years old. Having been under the Taliban in Swat Valley/District, Mingora, Pakistan where she grew up. Her Family being Muslim, her Mother had to follow the purdah system and soon Malala would to. On 9th October 2012, the whole world mourned and hoped that this incredible 15 year-old would make it out alive. Because, when she was shot in the head by 2 Taliban Masked Gunman, she had a fifty-fifty chance of living.

My Thoughts:

I was in Bangkok, Thailand at the time when I was reading this book, and while packing my travel bag, I decided to keep this in case I finish all the other books because I'm a very, very fast reader. I started reading at about 12am in the morning and only stopped at about a quarter to 2am, and yet I was not halfway through the book. I was so intrigued by the book that I just couldn't put it down!
