What I thought about Ground Zero:
I remember talking to my friend -- also an Alan Gratz book lover -- about this new book in September... I was so sad to find out it would only be released in February :(
I had been checking my school's library catalog ever since February 2, 2021 -- the day this book was released -- and when I checked again and saw that it had finally arrived, I was so happy. I immediately logged in to my account and put a hold on it. When I got to reading this book, I wanted to read it slower. To make this book last longer and also to understand the harrowing attacks that happened. I had always wanted to know more about the 9/11 attacks. I opened one page of the book, and instantly got immersed in this book. It was amazing, it was written well and I was waiting for that famous link that connected the older and newer fictional events that Alan Gratz's books are known to have. I definitely recommend this book, and some of Alan Gratz's other ones. Refugee, Prisoner B-3087, Allies, Code of Honor, Projekt 1065, and Grenade. I am also currently waiting to read Resist by Alan Gratz, which is almost like a sequel to Allies.
