All Thirteen: Author Fan Face-off

I recently interacted with Christina Soontornvat, author of the book: All Thirteen, a book which I have also reviewed. I was in a challenge with Christina Soontornvat, on who had better knowledge about the book All Thirteen, on the middle-grade book game show, Author Fan Face-off hosted by Steve Sheinkin, (award-winning author of Bomb [which I'm currently reading now] & Undefeated) and Leaping Librarian, Stacey Rattner!

The Experience:

This was an amazing experience, and I am really thankful to my teachers who introduced me to this challenge (it's not everyday where you meet an author and get to compete against them!) and it was really fun. I was actually quite nervous for the A.F.F! "what would the questions be like?" and "what if I get them wrong?" but after a few minutes on the Zoom call, all my nervousness faded away, as they were really nice about everything! On the recording, I also learned little pieces of information not given in the book, and that was exciting!
